Man’s best friend? Not when he runs up your credit card. Meet Oscar, faithful companion of Greg, a reader of top gaming blog Kotaku. As a one year-old Lab/Hound, Oscar has a bit of a chewing problem. Shoes, underwear, blinds, and pillows have all been targets for his gnashers, but when he turned his attention to Greg’s Xbox 360 controller one night, an expensive (and immensely unlikely) sequence of events ensued. As Oscar chomped down on the wireless controller, he successfully turned on the machine, navigated to the Xbox’s online store and purchased 5,000 Microsoft Points, at a cost of over $60. That was charged directly to Greg’s credit card, as Greg discovered when he woke up.

CS: Interesting. I wanted to ask about the casting. Everyone’s really surprised by Mo’Nique in this but I remember seeing “Shadowboxer” and she really jumped out because I remember seeing her hosting “Showtime at the Apollo” and seeing her in that movie, I couldn’t believe it was her, so I see her in this and she’s taken that to a whole ‘nother level. I know you have a background in talent management, so how do you know, like Mariah and her, can actually do this type of material? And Gabby as well? Where do your instincts come from to know that you can make the movie you want to make with them?

Eminem will be putting his insanity to good use! He’s reportedly prepping to release a series of horror films titled Shady Talez. Popular horror website shocktillyoudrop.com stated that Eminem has plans to develop an anthology of flicks paying homage to some of the genre’s cult favorites, like Christine, Aliens and The Lost Boys. Here’s an interesting tidbit…Em will have several roles in the films. Dennis Dennehy, Em’s publicist, spoke to XXL and confirmed that nothing is set in stone just yet. “There’s been talks,” he said, “but [I] can’t confirm anything yet.” This might actually be a great way for Em to release some of that *ahem* violent energy. Anyone who saw his eerie video for the song 3am knows that he definitely has the vision to push the envelope in the horror genre.

Seems as though super producer Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins has sat down again with MTV.com to spill the beans about Janet Jackson’s upcoming eleventh studio album. We knew that Janet was gearing up to release a #1’s album, led by the single, “Make Me,” this year on November 17th, but it seems as though he has some news about what’s to come next year with her next record, which is presently untitled.
