50 Cent may throw in the towel….. Yea Right

According to some sources on my end I hear 50 is contemplating getting out of the rap game! As I hear it 50 and his label aren’t seeing eye to eye resulting in 50 not wanting to continue his rap career! I also hear he’ll be putting more efforts into his other ventures such as acting, and he’s gone so far as to drop his stage name 50 Cent for his real name Curtis Jackson! Now I don’t know how valid this all may be… maybe 50 is just getting his grown man on for a minuet I mean can he breathe a little DAMN! I’ll keep you posted although I’m sure when 50 is ready to retire we ALL will know!

Trouble in Paradise.. Day 26 Confronts Diddy!
 
Looks like Day 26 is having some troubles with their label and boss Diddy. According to my sources Day 26 is upset about not receiving compensation for some shows they did during a tour! I hear that the group confronted Diddy about it and things got heated. I also hear that MTV cameras were there to catch all of it on tape for the new season of making the band! Which leads me to believe that this could all be for show. Which I’m hoping is the case but then again it wouldn’t be Bad Boy if it wasn’t!

Public Enemy has encouraged fans to remix records previously. After 2002’s Revolverlution, an album that featured classic tracks remixed by Paris and The Molemen, the group has linked with Obey and M-Audio to offer a full home recording studio to one lucky producer.

The song to remix is “Harder Than You Think” from last year’s How To Sell Soul To A Soulless People Who Sold Their Soul album [click to read]. The accapella is available [click here], and contest rules.

The winner will receive a full home studio as well as their remix pressed on limited edition 7″ vinyl on Obey Records, with cover designed by famed Obey artist Shepard Fairey. All proceeds from the sale of the record will go to The Boys & Girls Club of America.

The contest runs through September.
